Elementary Education

For more detailed information about Early Childhood Education
please visit the IKM School Site.

TAG, Title I, Special Education programs, and Student Assistance Team are available to meet the needs of all students.
Students have learning opportunities, at least 3 times each week, in a new and continuously updated computer lab.
Curriculum is updated yearly by our experienced teachers with guidance from Area Education Professionals.
Students experience learning through direct teaching, hands-on projects, experiment, learning centers, small groups, and visuals.
Teachers are trained how to best meet the developmental needs of elementary age children.
Along with academics, students are exposed to Spanish, keyboarding, art, music, physical education, and library experiences.
Classroom guidance activities teach children social skills and how to get along with others.
